It has been quite a while since I started a new knitting project, but something made me pick up this one last night. This is a kit I purchased 2 or 3 years ago at
NH Sheep & Wool Festival. It was from
Ellen's 1/2 Pint Farm and called "
Peeking Beads Scarf". It came with beads and a hand-painted sock blank. I found the pattern a little frustrating at first, and tried a few variations last night. This morning I decided I wasn't happy with it, and pulled out what I had done to try again.
I finally figured out the instructions after a more thorough read-through (and some sleep). I also adjusted my needle size upward for a more open knit, and stringing the beads required digging through my crochet hook collection to find one that would fit through the beads.
On my way now!
